The Educational Supervisors: Anisa Ali is a principal dentist at the practice and one of the two Clinical Leads. She works 3 days a week and has been a mentor for 5 years and an Educational Supervisor since 2022. Anisa has completed the MFDS and MFGDP and she has also completed a PG Certificate in Restorative Dentistry in 2019 which she really enjoyed and is now in her third year of a 4-year Masters - MClin-dent Prosthodontics – Fixed and Removable course at Kings College in London.
Marcin Cajdler is a principal dentist at the practice and one of the two Clinical Leads. He has been at the practice for 18 years and a mentor for dentists and dental nurses in training for 10 years. Training dentists is something that Marcin is really dedicated to and he has been an Educational Supervisor since 2022. Marcin works 5 days a week at the practice and is hands-on with the day-to-day management of the practice.
Enas Elsharawi is a principal dentist at the practice, working 5 days a week and she completed her MFDS RCPS in 2017. Enas has experience of supporting newly qualified dentists and enjoys training dental nurses to ensure that patients consistently receive high quality and safe dental care.
The Practice: Normanton Road Family Dental Centre provides both NHS and Private dental treatments and is predominantly an NHS practice. The practice has 13-surgeries and step-free disabled access. There are 3 surgeries on the ground floor complete with modern, dedicated decontamination facilities, a large open plan waiting room, wheelchair friendly reception desk with a hearing loop, with a further 10 surgeries and waiting area located on the first floor. The practice has full air-conditioning, and comprehensive staff facilities, full digital radiography, OPG machine, BDA Good Practice Membership for 11 years, Investors in People Gold Award held for 6 years, and numerous National Award Finalists. The practice has 2 Specialist Oral Surgeons who provide Intermediate Oral Surgery Services, and the practice also provides the Unscheduled Dental Care Services for Derbyshire.
