The Educational Supervisor: I was awarded the B.D.S qualification in 2000 from the University of Mumbai, and passed the IQE in 2004 from Guy’s Hospital, London. I completed my MJDF exams in 2015.
I was working as a GDP in Chelmsford, Essex until 2012 and moved to Shanghai and Bahrain for a period of 4 years during which time I developed a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry. Since returning in 2014, I worked as an Associate at Doncaster Road Dental Practice expanding my skills to include cosmetic orthodontics i.e Smilelign,QST,Mini smile makeover and
Smilefast. In October 2021, I acquired Doncaster Road Dental Practice and became Principal.
I have gained tremendous knowledge and expertise in dentistry and I enjoy the challenges with a drive for excellence. Having worked in various countries has further strengthened my knowledge and enabled me to practice with diverse cultures. 
As a Co Director for Dentinal Tubules for Leicester Study Club, I aspire to engage in organising social events involving network meetings and clinical lectures as I’m passionate in developing the future for young dentists., which has enhance my drive to further my role as an ES. I have been actively engaged in many online webinars & meetings regarding the future of dentistry. 
I live in Leicester with my husband and two children. In my spare time I love spending time with my family and reading. I am fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi and Mandarin. I enjoy travelling, cooking and practicing classical Indian dancing. 

The Practice: Welcome to Doncaster Road Dental Practice established since 1896. We provide both NHS and private care to our multicultural and diverse local community. We have an established membership scheme with Practice Plan since 2006 and provide a full range of cosmetic treatments including composite fillings, veneers, tooth whitening and short term orthodontics. We also have a visiting Oral surgeon providing complex surgical treatments including third molar surgery and implants.
The practice has 4 fully equipped treatment rooms over 2 floors using rotary endodontics, digital x-rays and computerised clinical system. We have a dedicated staffroom, reception, surgery waiting areas including a separate Decontamination room. Our dedicated team consists of 3 dentists, 2 therapist, a visiting oral surgeon, Implant dentist,dental nurses & receptionists. 
We are a long standing dental practice providing the community with family orientated care. The practice is involved in several community projects e.g. mouth cancer awareness, national smile month and participates in the Health Awareness project in association with Bridge Homeless charity. In 2022, the practice is nominated for the Smile Award which had been set up to celebrate people and organisations that have helped improve oral health in Leicester through creative projects. As a team we also take pride in sponsoring and raising funds for local charity events such as Race for Life and Christmas Jumper Day.

The Area: The practice is located on the corner of Melton Road and Doncaster Road and is one of the main routes into Leicester City within the shopping district. There is a bus route directly outside the practice both into and out of the city. And for those driving, off street parking is available. 
Leicester is located within central midlands with excellent transport links to London, Birmingham and major UK cities via train and road. Airport links to Birmingham International and East Midlands are within 45 minutes.

Other Points of Interest: Melton Road also known as the 'Golden Mile', is famous for Asian shopping and is one of the most popular tourist areas having a large multi-cultural community. Cultural festivities include the Caribbean Carnival and Diwali which holds itself as the second largest festival of lights in the world. Offering attractions such as King Richard III, Jewry Wall heritage site, ruins of Lady Jane House and Old John, Leicester offers a taste of history alongside the National Space Centre, Abbey Pumping Station and the British Gas museum. For those sport enthusiasts, Leicester City Football Club & Leicester Tigers gives the opportunities to experience the most thrilling matches of the season. You will be spoilt for choice with the variety of modern day classical and theatrical productions at the Curve Theatre, Phoenix and DeMontfort Hall. Shoppers would enjoy a day out at Leicester High Cross, Fosse Park and Thurmaston Shopping Centre. For those a tad more adventurous, Bradgate Park, Foxton Locks or Rutland waters are definitely worth a visit.
