The Educational Supervisor: Pritesh was himself a Foundation Dentist at Church Road Dental in 2011. He stayed on as an associate assisting 3 further FDs. He is now the Principal dentist and has been an official Educational Supervisor since 2017. He also has experience at Undergraduate teaching following a stint at the University of London. This puts him in prime position to help newly graduated dentists and his passion for teaching will be evident from day 1.
He enjoys all things Restorative and also provides facial aesthetics and orthodontic treatment. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his family, traveling and playing/watching various sports!
The Practice: Church Road Dental was established almost 20 years ago but has been regularly revamped to ensure it pushes the boundary's of a dental practice. It boasts a spacious patient lounge and over-sized air conditioned treatment rooms. The practice ethos is to provide dentistry to the highest standards within a calm and friendly environment. The staff turnover is minimal with some members present from the inception of the practice. We are supported by 2 part time hygienists, as well as 2 Periodontists and 1 DwSI in Endodontics. We provide a wide range of treatments and see all types of patients, which facilitates excellent experience for our DFTs. We also have onsite parking for staff members.
The Area: The practice is located in the town centre of leafy Welwyn Garden City. We are a short drive from North London and also have excellent overground train links to London and Hertfordshire. The practice is located a nearby shopping centre with several gyms in walking distance. There are many restaurants and cafes so you certainly will not go hungry!.
Other Points of Interest: Our dentists and specialists founded 'North Herts Study Club' which meet four times a year. We provide verifiable CPD for dentists and team members who wish to join. Recent topics have included 'cracked tooth', facial aesthetics, oral cancer and periodontics as a specialty.
