Monthly Regional Teaching Program – This is the Core program
- Core 10-11 days of teaching
- Mandatory attendance for all trainees in region (unless on leave)
- 10 out of the 30 days of study leave will be allocated for these
- Trainee to book leave respecting local leave arrangements
- Trusts will be expected to release trainees for these days

Half Day Weekly Teaching – This is Local teaching to compliment regional
Norwich – Weekly Friday afternoon teaching
Cambridge – Weekly Teaching rotating
- Not counted towards study leave
- Mandatory for Norwich / Cambridge trainees to attend (70%)
- Other units such as JPUH, Southend already offer ½ days
- If you do not have a half day teaching program then unit can send trainee to Addenbrookes or Norwich (whichever they are closer to)
