Description of opportunity |
The trainee will have the opportunity to join the Autism Assessment Service to join and carry out Autism assessments. The trainee will build skills in clinical interview and have the potential for observing and delivering ADOS, if trained. Our service is mainly a diagnostic service, however provides post diagnostic follow-up to discuss interventions and support in the Bedfordshire area. The trainee will gain experience of the MDT involvement including clinical nurse specialist, occupational therapy with sensory experience, and psychologist input. They would be welcomed to join the weekly team meeting on Thursday afternoons to review referrals and care pathway the team delivers. |
