The Educational Supervisor: Dhruvesh Chauhan has been an ES since 2017, jointly with another previous ES (had been a trainer for 6 years) and now is joined by Gurpreet SIngh, an experienced Dentist.  She has been supporting the current ES with Dhru so has gained experience in handling queries from FDs. 

The Practice: JDRM Dental Care Hinckley has been around for many years. It's an NHS practice with private fee per item treatments available including Invisalign, aesthetic dentistry and hygiene and whitening. It is part of a group of 7 practices run by Ruby and Jai (who have been ESs for since 2012 - so fully understand FD training and can support Dhru and Gurpreet) 

There are a mixture of established and new patients for the FD. There us access to our other practices to MOS and Ortho experience. 

The practice is undergoing extensive refurbishment, so by September 2019, the FD will enjoy a brand new surgery with new equipment in a purpose built surgery. 

The Area: The practice is located in the town center in Hinckley.  Employee private parking is free and available on site of the premises.  There is a train station within a 5 minutes’ walk with access to Leicester, Birmingham and beyond. 

The surrounding area comprises of many high street shops, restaurants, pubs, a cinema and residential areas. Leicester City Centre is 25 minutes from Hinckley and is host to the famous Fat Cats of Belvoir Street.

There are good motorway links to Hinckley, which is serviced by the M69 within minutes.  The Postgraduate Centre is a 25 minute drive away in Glenfield Hospital.  There are excellent bus links in and around Hinckley and to Leicester.
 

Other Points of Interest: Socially, the team will go out together at least 3 times a year, one of our nurses is our dedicated social rep, who organises our dinners and nights out in Leicester City Centre.  Within Hinckley there are many pubs and restaurants and a new Cinema and Leisure Centre within a minutes’ walk of the practice.
