The Educational Supervisors:   Julia Hallam-Seagrave: I qualified in Birmingham in 2000.  I completed my VT year in Rutland and then stayed as a GDP in that practice until 2006.  During that time I undertook postgraduate training in Orthodontics to become a dentist with special interest in Orthodontics.  In 2006 I was appointed as a Senior Dental Officer for Peterborough Salaried Dental Service based at the Dental Access Centre, treating urgent patients and also carrying out special care dentistry.  In 2008 I was appointed clinical lead for the service.  I am a Specialist in Special Care Dentistry and passed the  Diploma in Special Care Dentistry at The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. In 2014 I was awarded a Masters in Medical Education from the University of Bedfordshire.  I am also treasurer of the Kesteven and Holland BDA section and a committee member of Peterborough and Cambridgeshire LDC.

Eva King: I qualified in 2013 from Barts and the Royal London, Queen Mary University of London. During my undergraduate studies I was the Dental President and obtained an Intercalated Bsc in Oral Biology
I completed by FD year at the Peterborough Dental Access Centre so  much I continued to work for Cambridgeshire Community Services. It was here that I developed a passion for Special Care that led me to work at Kings College Hospital Trust for three further years.  In 2018 I returned permanently to Peterborough as Senior Dental Officer and enjoy my role in inhalation sedation and general anaesthetic sessions, as well as general dentistry on referred patients. I particularly enjoy paediatric dentistry and working with nervous patients.
Currently I am studying for a Masters in Implementation and Improvement Science at Kings which focuses on the use of research to improve the efficiency of our NHS service. I work for the NIHR as their Oral and Dental Speciality Lead for the East of England region to support clinicians undertake translational research in practice and participate in nationwide studies.
