Cardiology in the East of England has a history of pioneering advances in patient care, which continues today.

In April 2019 Royal Papworth Hospital moved to its new home on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. This new facility has been designed with state-of-the-art cath lab and intensive care environments to allow cutting edge patient care. Furthermore, it has a unique position fostering collaboration with Cambridge University, research bodies, and industry partners to enable advances in research and technology.
