Covid-19 and Clinical Dentistry

As dental practices in England continue and develop the provision of dental care it is important for all registrants and their practice teams to ensure their practice is in line with the most up to date guidance from the regulators and experts listed here:

Office of the Chief Dental Officer England

General Dental Council

NHS England and NHS Improvement

Care Quality Commission

Public Health England

Faculty of General Dental Practice

All these organisations have websites where up to date information is freely available. This list is not exhaustive and there are other sites that you may find useful.

Health Education England working across Midlands and East also has the resources below to support you. HEE will make efforts to remove any resources that risk registrants accessing out of date guidance. :

Dental Courses

As part of registration requirements with the General Dental Council (GDC), Dentists and Dental Care Professionals are required continually to develop themselves within their professional sphere and provide evidence of such development to their relevant professional bodies on annual basis to the GDC.
