The Educational Supervisor: I qualified from Guys, Kings and St. Thomas' in 2007 and after completing vocational training I undertook a year long hands-on course in implantology at the prestigious Tatum Institute. I have also completed a PG Certificate in Dental Education to improve the quality of the training program within the Practice. I love all aspects of my job, from the clinical dentistry to practice management and leadership. I have been a Trainer now for 5 years and have remained in touch with each of the trainees so far, having developed a friendship alongside a professional relationship, We have a large team, full of enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individuals that makes coming to work a pleasure rather than a stress. Outside of dentistry and practice management, my time is almost entirely taken up by  my two little girls, which I actually find much more exhausting than seeing a full day of patients!

The Practice: March Dental Surgery is a busy mixed NHS and Private family practice with six dental surgeries. We have four dentists, a visiting orthodontist, three part time hygienists, two receptionists, six dental nurses and a practice manager. We have a close knit team and all look out for one and another. The practice has been totally refurbished with new dental chairs and equipment including a digital OPG, two new decontamination rooms and staff room. We offer all types of treatment within the practice and have a long-established respected reputation within the local community that we strive to uphold. There is plenty of off-street parking and we are walking distance from the quaint town centre and train station. Each of the dentists within the practice displays interests in different areas and together we exhibit a wide range of skills, including oral surgery, implantology, aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

The Area:  March is a picturesque riverside market town in the heart of the Fenland area. Twenty miles from  Peterborough and thirty miles away from Cambridge. The local train station is walking distance from the practice and there are excellent train links to London and Birmingham

Other Points of Interest: The local town has plenty of independently owned shops and a number of very busy pubs. Cambridge and Peterborough are both close enough to venture into over the weekends or in the evenings for food and fun.  A comment left on NHS Choices; "I found this dentist practice very professional and efficient. Receptionists know their stuff and can offer advice. The dentists that I have visited have always done an excellent job and made me feel at ease (as I am usually very anxious when visiting a dentist). My visit today for a crown (visit 1 of 2) went extremely well and the dentist was extremely capable. Two dentists discussed my case and they brought me into the discussion so that I knew what was being discussed. Yep, would definitely recommend them"
